U.S. Speaker on Economic Prosperity – Entrepreneurship brings best business practices

April 22, 2019 (Bishkek-Kyrgyz Republic) – The U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic is supporting U.S. speaker Victoria Silchenko to conduct sessions during the April 22-26 week in Bishkek as part of the Economic Prosperity – Entrepreneurship speaker program aiming to improve entrepreneurship practices and expand commercial partnership between Kyrgyzstani and international firms.

Silchenko will give sessions on modern tools and techniques, modern sources of startup capital as accelerators, crowdfunding, venture capital, social entrepreneurship and impact investing, key players and trends, art of the sale, creating new markets and alternative financing.

University students and professors, social entrepreneurs, businesses, young entrepreneurs of creative industries, state officials and other interested parties are invited to attend.

The Business Facilitation Seminar will be conducted by the U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, in partnership with local entrepreneurs and businesses associations and with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Local entrepreneurs will learn to demonstrate to foreign enterprises their potential to be a viable business partner with an international entity.

There are will be several meetings between Silchenko and state officials and media representatives in order to introduce officials and local entrepreneurs to global business standards.

All events are free to the public.

Victoria Silchenko, Ph.D. is one of the leading alternative funding experts in the United States, an economist turned entrepreneur and adviser known for being at the forefront of next-generation impact-driven venture financing models in the new digital era. She is the founder of Metropole Capital Group and World Funding Summit based in Los Angeles (California); Adjunct professor at the Californian Lutheran University (CLU), and is currently on the Advisory Board of The California Stock Exchange.
