On April 11-15 U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) experts of the U.S. Department of Justice will share their best practices in investigating drug cases with counterparts from Kyrgyzstan’s Drug Control Service, Customs, and State Penitentiary Service. Over five days, participants will discuss theoretical and practical aspects of these investigations and the benefits of interagency cooperation.
The U.S. Embassy funds this project through United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to conduct such training and invites DEA experts to share knowledge and experience. UNODC is a global leader in the fight against illicit drugs and international crime and is mandated to assist Member States in their struggle against illicit drugs, organized crime and terrorism.
