October 31, 2018 (Bishkek) – The U.S. Acting Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs (CBA) in the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs (EB) Scott Ticknor met with a variety of leaders from the government, private sector, and international financial institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic during his visit to Bishkek on October 29 and 30. He discussed ways to enhance the investment climate for foreign investors, advance economic development and intellectual property rights in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as opportunities for cooperation and exchanges.
The Commercial and Business Affairs Office advocates on behalf of U.S. business interests abroad, promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, and protecting intellectual property rights.
